The Launch will be followed by the screening of ‘Women Without Men’ by Shirin Neshat, our festival lead artist for 2023.
Each year, BEAF festival invites an inspirational artist to lead our festival theme – Shirin Neshat, an Iranian artist currently living in exile in New York, follows from our 2021 festival artist, South African William Kentridge.
We look forward to seeing everyone at our B.A.D. building for the launch. Places are limited for the screening, so please make sure you book your seat at our sofa cinema if you will be coming to both. If you miss out on this screening, don’t worry as we will be doing an additional one.
