AFA COLLECTIVE : LIVED SPACE

An exhibition and events programme that creates a series of encounters around themes of contemporary living in relation to space and the shifting nature of the present moment.

Using installation, workshop practices and discussion, Lived Space considers the ephemeral and shifting nature of lived experience.

The AFA Collective (Artists For Affect) are artists Demeter Dykes, Sian Gouldstone and Denise Poote.

 

EVENT PROGRAMME:

Sat 26 Jun –  ARTIST TOUR at 2pm and at 4pm:  Join the AFA artists for a 30 minute guided tour of their work.  Meet us and ask questions. Looking forward to seeing you there. Maximum 10 visitors on first-come, first-served basis.

Sat 3 July –  THROWING SHAPES at 3-5pm:  A workshop to explore our exhibition through experiments with collage and printmaking. We will make a number of large scale artworks together. Free places offered on a first-come, first-served basis. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Sun 4 July –  JOINUPJOINME at 12-6pm:  This drop-in workshop offers you the chance to make small works of your own to take away in response to our exhibition.  Free places offered on a first-come, first-served basis. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
