The work celebrates the macula, which is the part of the eye responsible for the central, high resolution, colour vision that takes place in good light. This key piece of anatomy that we all share is the reason that the world can look so bright and colourful, and this work asks the participants and the audience to consider light as a joyful experience. This artwork will feature as a delicate and attractive paper canopy consisting of a collection of paper sails.
