The Outsiders Project Creative Writing Workshops – Mondays

We run weekly creative writing workshops throughout the year with marginalised communities in Boscombe. They help to develop skills, confidence and self-belief.

All weekly workshops are run by trained outsider artists and are free to attend for people that meet our criteria of people that have been sidelined from society. These workshops are free for people that have been sidelined from society and whose voices have not been heard. The project is open to any person over 18 who previously was or is currently experiencing challenges in any of the following areas: physical limitations; addiction; low income; domestic or sexual abuse; homeless/vulnerably housed; leaver of care; leaver of prison; institutional abuse; refugees/displaced people and those seeking asylum; long term users of mental health services.

Our Monday workshops run throughout the year during term times 11am-12.30pm at TOSH. We also run a creative writing workshop on Tuesdays 6-8pm and a LGBT+ creative writing group on Wednesdays 5-7pm.
