Carol Maund

Carol believes passionately in quality arts in the community and opening up opportunities for young people. She works inclusively and collaboratively and is the Queen of Scheme

Nell Leyshon

Nell is a playwright and novelist and has lived in Bournemouth for 28 years. She runs The Outsiders Project, part of BEAF, and is Deputy Chair of Shakespeare’s Globe

Chris Anderton

Chris is Production Manager for BEAF and also tries to keep the BEAF team organised. He even created this webpage.

Natasha Player

Natasha Player is a Creative Changemaker consultant supporting ogranisations, venues and businesses to create cultural shifts.  Working with organisations such as locally Umoja Arts Network and nationally ‘Without Walls’ to increase diversity and inclusion in the arts. Natasha loves data but loves people even more!

Laura Mulhern
Laura is an arts marketing specialist and manages the BEAF marketing and comms, including cooking up the BEAF Stew each week!  She also works as a creative business mentor for artists across the UK through her own venture Plan Make Do. She also has a soft spot for beaches, dogs and Jaffa Cakes.
Victoria Pirie

Victoria runs BEAF Festival evaluation. She also runs Pomegranate consultancy and has lived locally for 30 years. Victoria  likes questionnaires 

 

Lucy Turner

Lucy runs volunteer training sessions for BEAF along with Caroline Johnson. She is an animation lecturer on AUB foundation and a freelance producer for eclectic media projects

Nicola Sadler

Nicola is a recent graduate from Creative Events Management at AUB. Assistant to Laura and planner of all things social

Quianna Maw

Quianna is a Creative Events Management Graduate from AUB. She’s assisting multiple members of the team in what ever tasks they cook up!

Harriet Uren

Harri is a recent Creative Events Management graduate from AUB, and works within the marketing team on all things social media.

Morven Shortt

Morven is a Contemporary Artist, using waste to create sculptures and installations and is currently studying for a PhD in Fine Art. Within BEAF Morven works to develop and curate spaces for exhibition, the mentoring of applicants and students  and promoting art within the Bournemouth area.

Jo Billingham
Jo is a director and theatre practitioner originally from the Midlands and now based in Bournemouth.
She is an assistant on The Outsiders Project, and enjoys working with emerging artists on the development of new work.
Colin Phillimore

As a freelance creative Colin works across art forms with other local partners. He’s a performance poet, works in site specific theatre and street theatre, delivering ACE and NHLF funded projects

Ninon Leyshon

Ninon is trained in drama. She works as an assistant on The Outsiders Project, and helps support the artists and the team. She loves text work and helping develop big plans. 

Hanh Hoang

Though worked in the science sector for most of her life, Art has always been in her heart with a passion for Argentine Tango  as a dancer and teacher. Hanh now runs and organise dance club & festivals both local and internationally.

Deena Jackman

Deena is a multidisciplinary sonic artist, musician and general soundnerd. She composes for mixed media including theatre and film. Deena produces podcasts, music and audio content for The Outsiders Project.

Krishna Malla

Krishna Malla aka Tech Moon is a professional street artist from Cornwall. A trained Illustrator and visiting tutor at the AUB, Krishna found his artistic feet painting large scale murals across the UK. His work is often underpinned by a love for wildlife and experiments in realism.

Nat Cook

Freelance visual artist, designer and art director. Nat has worked with a host of brands from Lush to Vans and now resides with BEAF. She loves working on large scale installations, big bold and brash graphics with punchy colours to match. When she's not working with beaf she's designing, illustrating and selling prints.
