TRNS will be hosting their 16th Transmission as part of the fringe:

It’s almost been 2 years since Luke & Andy started TRNS. From club night, to artist collective and now evolving into an independent record label they have been fighting to bring back the live scene that once thrived in Bournemouth.

They will be hosting their 16th Transmission as part of BEAF at The Winchester on Saturday 16th October. Live Acts on the night include:

The Death Of Pop

A band who make heartache fun… Based around jangley pop guitar lines they bring an energetic and playful sound to the stage. Having played across the UK and europe, performing at this summer’s acclaimed FIB Benicàssim Festival, airplay on BBC Radio 1 & BBC 6 Music with their latest single arriving on the legendary label: too pure!

BOYS

This band have created their own lofi take on dream pop, producing a mellow, warming sound. The band work to a very D.I.Y ethos recording their first three singles in home studios. Soon to be recording a new single they are certainly a band to keep an eye on.

Post-Heather

Bringing you a melodic, garage rock rumble, howling female vocals and shiny back beats. Originally hailing from Bournemouth; the two piece now reside in Brighton, but we will be bringing them back for TRNS016!

There will also be vinyl DJ sets from the label founders and special guest Charlie B. They will be selecting from funk to punk, soul to psych and much more.  We look forward to seeing you all there!

2ND BIRTHDAY

With the approach of their 2 year birthday party TRNS have just announced 2 more releases coming in the next month.

First up: Coosbay’s previous project; Hatha, will be giving away a three track EP of atmospheric, psychedelic dream pop as a thank you to all those who have supported the label.

https://www.facebook.com/poormichaelband have been working away behind the scenes on an island just off the coast of Bournemouth in order to bring you their debut album.

“Hyper-tight, riff led psych stylings driven along by insistent drums and nigh-on funky bass lines to neat and wholly endearing effect” – KERRANG
TRNS independant label
A psych-rock trio with a difference. Steering away instruction manual for 60s psychedelia, Poor Michael have skimmed through it, and decided to switch things up. Generating a raw and energetic take on the psych movement, combining eastern-influenced riffs and slamming grooves.

They will be releasing the album on Friday 20th November at the 2 Years of TRNS gig alongside a host of special guests and close friends.
