“To say this is a showcase for Michelle Yeoh’s talent almost feels like an understatement” The Independent ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It is rare that you can call a film truly sui generis but this film is genuinely unlike any you have seen before. It begins fairly normally with middle aged Evelyn Wang struggling with a failing business and a deteriorating marriage while failing to connect with her daughter Joy. However, her depressing life is torn apart when she is visited by a consciousness from an alternate reality and finds that she alone can save the fate of all realities in the multiverse. A crazily inventive whirlwind of philosophical concepts, martial arts and absurd humour, this one has to be seen to be believed.

Language: primarily English with Cantonese and Mandarin, English subtitles

Running time: Approx. 139m

This film contains: strong violence, sex references and language.
