ROSE LEYSHON : THE TINDER GAMES
On the precinct (parked in front of BAD)
The Tinder Games is an unconventional inside-out exhibition displayed in the windows of the caravan studio of the sculptor Rose Leyshon.
A series of small sculptures of young people in the nude pose for selfies in the mirror. The work reflects contemporary online dating methods and digital seductive communication.
As well as presenting humorous figures taking pictures of their bodies, it also exposes the dramatic solitude and need for attention of the young adult in the 21st century. The sculptures will be accompanied with anecdotal texts to make you laugh and think, and have a taste of what it is to be a young adult trying to figure out your sexuality and find love online.
