BEAF is run by a fantastic team of volunteers and freelancers.  The Steering group is a gathering of  volunteer independent creatives who help direct and develop our projects and the annual festival.

Each year BEAF provides placements for students and young people, and we welcome anyone to apply for a placement.  You need to be over 18 and we provide training and support to help you learn lots of useful stuff about event management, festival planning, running workshops, marketing etc.  If you want to apply for a placement please email gotbeaf@gmail.com.

We ramp up our volunteer programme for the festival as this requires lots of helpful people to make the festival happen.  We love to involve local people who know about the area and who can give information to visitors but also there are a variety of roles we need people to help us with.  The list is long but it might include looking after an exhibition or venue, front of house duties, distributing programmes and generally helping out where needed.  If you have a few or lots of hours to spare, please contact us at gotbeaf@gmail.com
